Kitty Rescued, World a Better Place

Every now and then, a little bit of magic happens here at the barkman offices. In this case, it came in the form of a small kitten, found inside a retaining wall on site. Moments later, the kitten was moved into a small kennel cab, which we apparently have on hand for just such an occasion. Word went out quickly, and moments later, all manner of barkman employees could be seen jammed into Carrie Skrabek’s office. The kitten seemed particularly partial to a holland paver Carrie had on hand. When pressed for a comment, the kitten remarked that the paver exuded “structured sophistication” and captured the “bold simplicity of Northern European style.” Our thoughts exactly. As with many a good story, this one ends happily. The barkman kitten will be going home with an employee of ours sometime this afternoon.
